Is my mural reusable?

Your wall mural will be pasted to the wall and therefore is not reusable.

What sizes are available?

With being customizable, you are almost limitless.

Is there a minimum size?

Our minimum standard size is approximately 150 square feet. We specialize in professional large format decorative wall murals. However, we will gladly print custom sizes less than 150 square feet but prices will be calculated based on the 150 square foot minimum.

What if I measure incorrectly?

Always be sure to double check measurements before placing your order! Depending on the measurements and any issues, one option is to trim any excess material once the mural is installed. Accurate wall measurements are the customer's responsibility and are not included under our guarantee.

How do I upload my own image?

Our software will allow you to upload any image you'd like for a mural. Our team of creatives will make sure the quality of your image is clean and usable.

How do I make sure my image is high enough quality for a mural?

Wall murals require high-resolution imagery to print well and most modern professional digital cameras will provide a good quality image. Android and iPhone photos may not work well but our creative will be able to confirm this when submitting. Please do not upload social media images, these WILL NOT come close to the resolution needed.

What size picture works best for uploading? How many megapixels?

We recommend your image should be at least 1000 pixels in width and height with a file size less than 500 MB. For extra-large murals, larger megapixel files will be necessary so that the image output is not distorted and pixelated.

What file formats are accepted?

JPEG, PNG, TIFF, PDF and SVG files are acceptable.

Where do you find images for my custom mural?

We have a variety of options to choose from in our software. Many stock photo houses online have inexpensive images available for purchase that are high resolution.

What type of wall surface do I need to have?

The surface of the wall is very important and critical to selecting a compatible material. If you have an orange peel surface or another type of slightly textured wall, we recommend our canvas wall paper, this is the preferred paper used by commercial installers because it hides many wall defects. If you're trying to get creative and would like a mural on a surface that's a little unusual (concrete, masonry, etc.) just give us a call, and we will find an appropriate material for the job.

Can I install a mural in a bathroom or other high moisture area?

Sure! Our wall murals can withstand the moisture in bathrooms. When installing the mural, make sure that the wall is completely dry of any moisture and dust. As with any wallpaper installation, review glue manufacturer’s instructions to insure that it is correct choice for your location.

What materials do I need for installing my mural(s)?

You will need a measuring tape, masking tape (2" wide), wallpaper paste, scissors or utility knife, possibly a ladder and an assistant. We provide a squeegee application tool with every order.

How much is shipping?

We use UPS to offer free domestic ground shipping for all orders excluding Alaska and Hawaii. We do offer flat rate shipping to Alaska and Hawaii in addition to flat rate 2-day shipping to the lower 48. Expedited shipping and international orders require additional shipping costs but we offer very competitive rates.

How long will it take to receive my wall mural?

We ship murals within 5 to 10 business days of receiving the order. Allow an average time of 5 to 8 business days for domestic orders with standard ground shipping service, though you will likely receive your order sooner. Larger custom orders may require additional processing time.
